The Secretariat of the NGO Forum is pleased to invite civil society organizations, human rights defenders, activists, academics, journalists and other stakeholders to register for the Forum on the Participation of NGOs in the 87th Ordinary Session of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights.
The Forum will take place from 07th to 09th May 2026 in Banjul, The Gambia. This important gathering provides a platform for NGOs and other actors to deliberate on key human rights issues across Africa and to engage with the African human rights system.

Fees and Participation
Please note that the Forum is self-funded, and the following fees apply:
- General Participants: USD $150 (payable at the entrance)
- Panel Requests: USD $300
- Side Events: USD $500
Deadline
The deadline for all registrations is 15th April 2026.
This Forum serves as a crucial space for coordination, advocacy, and collective engagement ahead of the Commission’s session. Participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, highlight human rights concerns, and contribute to shaping recommendations to the Commission.
